Fashion Project 2 (WEEK5-WEEK8)

 WEEK 5

Fabric manipulation and sampling.

during this week, I proceeded with the fabric manipulation and sampling where I was still exploring different ways of needlework. One technique that I tried during week 5 was fabric slashing.

In order to include the aspect of needlework, I worked on some beadings onto the manipulation.

WEEK 6

By the end of week 5, we were already told to start with our initial idea development. Since my manipulation did not have any structure or any 3D effects, I started developing my initials based on the silhouettes I wanted to explore for this particular semester.
I was really interested in exploring menswear, So I eventually started to explore those different types of silhouettes.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT.

During the development stage, I introduced white into my color palette, the reason for this was to elevate the green color that I wanted to use on my designs. With a close guidance with my lecturer, we eventually decided on 3 finalized designs.
All 3 of them adapted the same concept of vest and suiting techniques with long flowy pants with detailed work such as pleats, darts and other interesting design lines.

WEEK 7
